A digital badge is an online representation of a verified accomplishment or skill. A digital badge can be earned, accessed and displayed on social media channels, personal profiles, and resumes.
You must register for Retail Learning Academy and enroll into a PTS course. You will earn a digital badge when you complete specific requirements for an associated course.
There are currently four badges available: the Propel Rx Foundations badge, the Propel Rx Essentials badge, the Propel Rx Academic badge and the Propel POS Foundations badge. These badges are available to learners who complete the associated courses.
McKesson Canada PTS is partnering with credentialing vendor BadgeCert to issue badges. Upon completion of badge requirements on the Retail Learning Academy, you will be issued a badge via BadgeCert email with instructions to claim your credential.
You can view and share your digital badge directly from the issuance email that you received.
You can also manage and share your badge from your secure BadgeCert Portfolio. Visit badgecert.com and log in. Click "Request New Password" and you will receive an email with a temporary link to update your password. Once logged in, you can manage and share your digital badges in your portfolio.
There are two ways you can add your badge to your LinkedIn profile.
Option 1: Check if the email you received for your badge has the add your badge to your 'LinkedIn profile' link. If yes, then click on that link in the email you received and follow the LinkedIn prompts to add your badge to your profile. When you click "Save," your badge will be added to the LinkedIn Licenses & Certifications section.
You will see the McKesson logo and a link to your badge "Show Credential." LinkedIn does not show your badge image until this link is clicked. In addition, you may want to DISABLE pop-up blocker when trying to share your badges with social networks.
Option 2: To share your badge as a post to your LinkedIn Feed, visit badgecert.com and log in with your credentials. Go to Badge Portfolio > hover the mouse on the badge > click on the "Share Badge" button > click the "LinkedIn" button. You can then follow the prompts on LinkedIn.
